Got these for the 998 but not sure where the gear lever bolts onto , anyone know and got some pictures , cheers
The back plate you have is not the correct one for the gear lever you have, they are for a direct fit gear lever that fits onto the gear lever shaft.
No you've got the correct parts sorry about the poor quality pic but you should be able to see how they go, the gear lever and bush/spacer use one of the bottom holes on the rearset with the special screw (don't lose it !!)

Hi Toby any chance you could measure the connecting rode it that's a picture of your bike , i think mine might be a bit long
