Where's The Tick Over Screw On 1100 Evo Sp Hyper.

  1. As above gents... Mines ticking over every so slightly slower that it should.... Just a couple of hundred rpm... I reckon it's about 1300 at the moment.... And the odd time in neutral when rolling up to lights it'll die.... Just wanted to unit a little bit...

  2. There is no tickover screw. The idle is controlled by the ECU and stepper motor idle control valve.

  3. Bugger... Its got a power commander on it.... I was trying to hang out til the end of the month to get it to cjs (hate power commanders).... Might plug the laptop in and see what happens...

  4. Not sounding too thick but I assumed it would have some sort of manual setting as my gen 4 zed has an idle screw which is very easily accessible... I just assumed the hyper was the same...

  5. if you dislike the pc so much unplug it . Re connect without pc and you haven't got it any more.

  6. Errrr... Not that easy I'm afraid the ecu is stock and it has a full evo system on there so it would run monumentally lean... Stuck with it til I get it to the dyno...

  7. You could try altering the PC map (backup the original first), add a little fuel at low revs and see if it helps?

  8. Yeah... That could be tonight's "thing to do... " just waiting for chris at cjs to get back to me...if he's free soon I'll just have to take it on the chin and go overdrawn (more than usual) to get it on the dyno...
