Had a nice blat thru Langport and the seven bends via Othery to Bridgwater for a cuppa and a mooch around Riders. I got the warranty and free servicing on my bike confirmed and have her booked-in for the 600 mile check and oil change on Wednesday.
It was gorgeous out there.....stopped at Route 303 for lunch and then through seven bends on our way to Castle Cary and then home Dorchester-Somerset Rideout 2 - Google Maps
Glad you had a good day out. You passed so close to my house that you could've popped-in for a cuppa - except I was out on my bike :biggrin:
I took Trooper round from the southwestbiker forum, saw a few Ducatis out to play ...no sedici though:wink: the drop down from the 303 to Taunton was fun ...not done that way for a long time
I was trying to join up all my favourite bits.....Dorchester to the A303, 7 Bends, Castle Cary to Wincanton, Wincanton to Sherborne and Sherborne to Dorchester. I realise now that there is also a speed element which helps to join the corners together which I missed yesterday (Trooper was on a Triumph TT600 and stuck to all the speed limits........ like you should) I didn't want to loose him as he's not been out that way before.
That does indeed look like a nice route. Just for info, the small country road to the right of the A352, is also a pleasant amble. Runs through Piddletrenthide ( I kid you not), there are a couple of nice pubs along the river Piddle IIRC TT p.s. nothing wrong with a Triumph TT600, ridden at speed limit, or not!!,
