I realise this is a common topic, but I can't find the answer I'm looking for. I really don't like the numberplate hangar and rear (or front!) indicators on the 998s. Would anyone like to share what they've done? R&G In terms of the R&G product (LP0035BK - with LED indicators), does this come with a numberplate light, or is the standard one used? Anyone got any experience of this? Motodynamic LED Sequential tail lights () Has anyone tried this? What did you use as a numberplate holder / light with it? Front Indicators Finally, what about the front indicators? Anyone improved on the big, ugly ones that come as standard? Thanks all in anticipation for your help! L
Hi Mate, ive not used any of that stuff sorry... but would also be keen to upgrade the lights so will watch this thread. Those tail lights in the video look sweet!
Hi I put the R&G tail tidy on my 916 and have to say - much happier with the the look. It comes with its own little number plate light and the led indicators looks great! But as u say - need something to sort the front indicators out now! R&G micro indicators probably as they will match the rears then - but not sure how the fitment on air tube will be!
Hi all Just to let you know that I fitted the Motodynamic tail light system and I'm totally delighted with it. No point in posting pics as it's just the same as the video above (only yellow!). Good build quality and instructions, although I did change some of the bullet connectors for more sturdy ones, as there's now an extra pair of connections to work with when the seat unit is removed. Now going to add this number plate mount (Ducati 998 license plate holder with lighting | eBay and carbon under-tray to finish the look completely. Will post pics when all complete. Still on the lookout for some good front LEDs.... L
