I've never felt the gentle caress of another man, so I am not sure about that. I can't say I've even watched broke back mountain either, just does not appeal really. I did once have a girl friend who asked if I wanted a threesome but it sounded like a trick question.. Where did the other words go? A piccy from my scrap book, sad I know but I keep them for my little boy so he does not think I am such a loser when all he remembers is me running round the park playing football wearing a shell suit. Sorry to go off Topic but it is the weekend. View attachment 68176
Perhaps Bradders although I did not join a bike forum with the intention of discussing car racing opps. I know some bikers don't like or respect car racing, although most bike racers I know don't have an issue with it. This forum has been a good source of info regarding the 998 and I look forward to some local-ish meets if the weather is nice so don't want to offend As for the Stig, that's another topic but not a serious one.
Oh bloody hell....have I got to put up my certificate for driving a single seater around Brands now? Now, where's that photo of me in my Triang pedal car?
That's a lovely comment, being nasty awesome sense of humor! If that's the case and you are going to the forum events I think I perhaps best miss them, that's a great way to treat other people who have a similar interest. I guess the advice is don't post things you are passionate about or skilled in, I suppose you think that's insecurity or is my pride that offends you?.. Personally I celebrate others achievements no matter how big or small and I have plenty of people who take an interest in what I do and I like wise. I wasn't born into money (boo hoo) in fact I had it far from easy. left school at 16 and home at 17 and I built a race car in my spare time. My parents never came to my races or even asked how I got on, I had to find people to help me run the car for free around their commitments, it's been very challenging. Entered a first race weekend with little experience or finance and got 2x 3rd places in my class, on the grid with race instructors and types that become F1 test drivers (ok I was miles off thier pace although they were in a different class/car) and yes one lady racing. Her dad happened to be a person who built gearboxes for GP bikes, sadly passed away now. That weekend a guy who worked in Moto GP was changing my wheels in his time off... did he feel the need to snub me, no instead he invited me to a Moto GP test day in the garages and helped me with some issues. I for one would be interested if you have been round the track in a single seater, bike, flown planes or even took a kayak down a fast river if you think you are too humble or cool to post about it, that's up to you. If you want I could post my school record certificate for Gavlin? I am proud of my achievements. Although there is a bit of a difference in an experience day and racing but not dismissing it. For all I know you might be an F1 driver but still an a hole in my opinion if you put down other peoples accomplishments. I've had to work for everything I've done and I've always been told I can't do it, Two 3rd places in my first race weekend in a car I built will be proud of thanks.
No offence meant with my previous post....... but I guess when you wrote that reply the wine bottle was empty.:tonguewink: I haven't got time to unframe my certificate for a single seater drive, but I'm quite happy to post the report / results of my first attempt round Brands in a single seater...........but this will have to do in the meantime.......
take up bike racing and go do the little Desmo Due series. £1500 bike, oil and filter every 3 rounds, 2k entry, tyres £140 a set and only use a couple of pairs for the whole year, and a proper laugh. Cant even do that with an old Golf lol
Alternatively.............get yourself a ride as a novice passenger on sidecars..............better than drugs (the buzz lasts for several days) and you get fit with it too..............(unless you fall out, that is) ...........just work out where you are supposed to be at each corner............after a few laps, you start to find out how you can steer it quicker than the driver.............(if you are prepared for it, that is)
