I already had the Leo Vince decat pipe, a CJS remap and a Termi stubby. I managed to secure a Leo Vince Carbon stubby to match the decat pipe (thanks Pete 'rotaxracer'). I think it looks great and it has taken the raw edge off the exhaust note. Quick pic for you!
Nice! looks great. Can you describe the sound it makes? And how loud?: A) Somewhat B) Very or C) Utterly offensive. Mind sharing what you paid?
Well with the Termi stubby it was LOUD! To my ear just a bit to much. Now it is A) Somewhat loud or as I prefer normal loud, still sounds good but not offensive. In isolation the bits arnt to expensive. The stubby I paid 375 for including baffle. The link pipe was 300 odd and the remap 500. Spose it is a fair bit of money but I didn't do it all at once.
Yeah I rode a multi with a termi stubby a while back and it was def too loud for me. Quite interested in this Leo Vince road. One thing: bout the CJS remap - (newbie question alert) what are you getting for £500?
You are getting a bespoke map for your particular bike. It's set up in front of you on the dyno machine, For me it's piece of mind. These bikes are expensive if they blow up so messing with the fueling by putting different exhausts etc is not for me. I want to know it's running as well as it can. I think you can get less expensive remaps which will probably be fine. As CJS is near to me I thought it worthwhile.
Nice exhaust... But more importantly nice bin shot, I'm guessing household food waste/ garden refuse.
Steen, if you are thinking of a remap, I can recommend CJS, he did my 2010 bike but I had my 2013 bike mapped by X-bikes in Wisbech. I went with them because there was the option of a quickshifter with autoblipper which is fantastic!
Ah no! It looks like a bin but in reality there is a ninja turtle inside ready to lop heads off the cold callers, he nearly got the mother in law by mistake but unfortunately he missed!
