First opportunity I've had for a while to have a good ride on my 999S,weather was perfect here in Lincs...saw quite a few other Ducati's on the road so they must have thought it a good idea as well, I also saw far more stationary police cars than usual for a saturday morning pulling bikes over for roadside checks, and a number of speed traps seemingly taking advantage of the good motorcycling conditions, call me Mr.cynical but its a shame the cops abundance seems to be linked to fair weather and easy meat ,a mate of mine was burgled just before xmas and the law didn't even turn up to take a statement in person ,he had to ring them!... Enjoyed the ride BTW...
Been there with the thefts ect . Had 1 at work where thy didn't even turn up ( until pressure was applied by owner of the company ) Apparently it was a serious crime (over 25k of motors/gear boxes ect ) 4 days later !!! they turn up have a quick look round and nothing . Persons unknown were trying to sell some of it quite quickly e.g. the next day
