Anyone else running Windows 10 installed the latest update ? Just finished the lengthy update and found I've lost access to the Internet via a hard wired LAN. WiFi access from the iPad is fine so I've ended up restoring to the last backup and everything is back to normal. Going to switch auto update off for the moment. Andy
Since updating to Windows 10, my PC now no longer recognises the CD drive, has forgotten it ever had one, denies all knowledge of it, refuses to play, burn, or spin anything. Did I miss the Selective Amnesia For Windows announcement?
This may work, at the command line in Windows. You have to run the Command Prompt as an administrator. To do that, just type “cmd” in your start menu’s search bar. Right click the “cmd” icon that should come up and select “Run as administrator.” Then type "netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt" (ignore "), press enter. You will then have to restart your computer
