Could an ECU from one Ducati model be flashed to another ? Ie. The 5AMHW610 ECU is used in a host of bikes so is it just a case of flashing the correct firmware for the correct bike I'm thinking for example if you had an ECU for a Monster go tits up but could only find an 848 ECU ? I've no need, just a question that popped into my head while sat at work......
Ha ha ha cool I flashed my stock ECU to a DP EVO flash and have a spare DP ECU, just opens up a few more opportunities if someone with another model needs one that it can be flashed to suit Cheers Chris
There are some anomalies where a different hardware version is used. In the main you can flash them to suit numerous models.
