Hi all, I have 848 and wanted to boost performance. What would you recommend doing? If I done the ecu chip or power commander for example, would other things need to be done asweall? Complete novice with bike engines ect
The usual approach is to fit a freer flowing exhaust like a full Termignoni or Austin racing system and then get it custom mapped. This guy is a Ducati specialist and well respected on the forum. CJS RACING Ducati Cylinder Heads Tuning Gas Flow Dyno ECU Custom Mapping Bristol Bath I wouldn't bother with Power Commanders. They only adjust fuelling and don't address any programming deficiencies in the ECU. A custom remap is far more effective and doesn't cost much more.
