arm having only seen the trailers and read a review.....this is just a teenagers version of the Running Man if it's along the lines of the Twilight Saga then it will appeal to pre pubescent teenage girls... shite rant over lol
Thing is about 70% of movies are remakes of old ones or based on old idea. It is unavoidable there is only so many historical fats one can shot a movie about and only so many times action hero can safe something in original way. Honestly the only part of cinema that is left with potential for great script is sci-fi as no rules apply. Even there end goal is repetitive saving earth, human race, ship.
