Zircotec Project SF848

  1. Right my next project is to remove my exhaust and get it ceramic coated by Zircotec in Abingdon Zircotec - Plasma sprayed ceramic thermal coatings

    However I wish to remove all the brackets that hold the exhaust shields onto the pipe to give it a clean finish (other means of heat protection are being used!) does anyone have any recommendations for a metal worker in the Wiltshire area who could do this?

  7. Hi Char l am in wilts and do a bit of stainless work
    making exhaust can straps and hanger brackets as advertised on this very forum
    anything l can help with

  8. Price depends on length and diameter- had a rough quote as trying to measure with them on the bike wasnt happening - looking at about £200.00 maybe a bit more

    thanks for the offer Steve I will try and get them off this week and send you some pics see what you think

    The other option is to give it a go with a grinder, then contact you when all all goes wrong:smile:

  9. Well that weekend never came but I am hoping to do over THIS weekend

    any top tips for taking these pipes off - minion son number 1 helping
