Have you tried swapping the bars over.To do this you put the right one upside down on the left and vise versa.It doesn't move the position much but you may find it enough.If you do buy aftermarket bars you will find that they cant be altered from the standard position too much because of clearance issues.
yeah, you can only raise em so much as the reservoirs/levers will hit the screen/fairing.. obviously you can move em but its limited.
I've got the DP ones on mine. You can raise the heigh by quite a bit and drop the levers down to get a straight line with your arms (if it's a height thing)! But like others have said, the resovoirs will touch the top fairing unless you make different brackets. Ian
I have Ferracci ones on my bikes but they are really hard to find now, they do make a big difference but it does mean your thumbs get very close to the tank on full lock. I think SRS do some suitable adjustable ones.

No nothing like them. My ones are just the risers only and do not come with any bars. There is a photo below of what they are like. They come in polished and unpolished. I have both on two different bikes and the polished ones seem to look nicer and they match my milled top yoke.

I bought the standard bars without risers but they are adjustable for angle. This doesn't foul the reservoirs but I can't comment on the riser bars unfortunately. these are what i have. BSRA53D - SEMIMANUBRI GP d. 53 MM. OFF SET 15 mm. - 748 / 916 / 996 / 998 - SUPERBIKE
If they are adjustable for angle then the above should be fine as it is only the angle that is altered on the Ferracci bar risers. The flatter feel of the bars puts a lot less strain on the wrists. I am over 6 foot and stock Ducati bars were way too steep for me so I changed them almost immediately when I bought my 998 new. Although my 998 actually has Sigma performance bars on it. The Ferracci bars are on both my 748's, but they feel exactly the same.
Well the bars arrived from the USA and I've fitted them .. what a difference a small change makes to comfort levels .... I have a question for those that have them ... @Red998 .... the front brake / throttle fitting is very tight with the throttle cable running underneath .. I used the existing drilled hole in the bar for the throttle assembly but am wondering if I need to move it round a little more to give some more room for the brake lever to rotate slightly more .... or off I've a cable routing mistake ? Your bars look different to mine and don't seem to have the tube clamps mine have. It looks like you have the earlier clutch and brake master cylinders, is that correct? The standard tubes fitted to Ducatis differed between earlier and later models depending on what master cylinders were being used. On my bars fitted with the earlier master cylinders I had to file the recesses that go into the bar clamp to allow the bar to rotate more and allow more play in the throttle cable and make the brake master cylinder line lay with slightly more slack. In the first photo it looks like you have a hole in the top of the handlebar, which suggests you have the bars in upside down or on the wrong sides. The throttle should also be pushed further along the bar, unless of course you have the pip on the throttle going into place on the bar. If that's the case you may have the early bars with later master cylinders or vice versa. That could be one cause of your problem. Here's a couple of photos of my 748SPS ( silver levers) and 748R engined 748S (black levers). The SPS has early handlebars and the 748R\S has later handlebars.
Thanks for the reply .... Yes I have the early master cylinders and yes I noticed the extra hole but TBH with them being used bars there were a few extra holes on both that didn't line up ... did think they might want to be reversed but that just didn't work / look right and the ferracci stamp etc is to the top and the bars don't look to have been removed from the clamps etc ... I think I need to play with the throttle fitting and maybe drill another locator hole .... all in all though for £40.00 I'll make them work and the comfort is worth the slight fitting hassle
Brilliant ... your first pic sorted the error of my ways .... filed the throttle clamp and adjusted / rotated to feed the cable Now I need to get the toothbrush out as yours makes mine look ditched !! Many thanks for the help
Glad it worked and you clearly got a bargain on the bars. They are worth the effort and and an inch rise makes a lot of difference, enjoy.
