  1. I'm thinking of buying this for my standard 996/1098 engined bike. Will this fit a standard 1098 engine. It has a lamda (engine light still comes on, but no exhaust flap on my fabbed one off exhaust. image.jpg

  2. no, get your bike custom mapped would be the best bet, only way to make sure its fuelling correctly.

  3. Just flash your ecu to a DP spec first if you are on a budget....

It could remove the light as the ecu is probably looking for some resistance from the exhaust valve motor

Read up on either Tuneecu, ScanM5X or Jpdiag

  4. How
Much is that? I assume it will need dyno time and any suggestions not too far from Hereford.

  5. Cjs in Bristol mate, not far from Hereford. Think it's about £400 for a custom map takes most of the day mind you.

  6. Cheers, I think..!!

  7. Look at his website all explained there.

  8. It says on the CJs website to add £300 if no PC is fitted. Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy this one off eBay, if that's the case?

  9. Both can be mapped but with the PC there's is only a set amount of variables that can be altered in. I think I remember there only being 9 throttle opening columns on a PC3 to alter whereas an ECU flash can do 1-10% in 1% increments then say up to 100% in 5% increments giving you a lot finer tune....
