Off to the alps on Thursday so see a few stages then off to Paris for the final. Make it a regular trip. Going by car as pulled achilles tendon so not driving either. Sounds like bar somewhere
French alps and then Paris in the sun and some traffic but a nice beer outside a bar, or work. I can manage some traffic.
bussiness as usual today after yesterdays rest day,,, not such visually pleasing scenery , also hard to forecast what is going to happen after the first few incredibly close sprint finishes then the last few days being impressive breakaways .......
ludicrous behaviour from spectators today almost spoils the stage,,, something will have to be done, once again in wheeled sports the irisponsible downright stupid behaviour of a small group may spoil it for many others
Just watched today's stage, interesting and just where did the organisers think the spectators at the top of climb were going to go when they brought the finish line down due to the wind. Accident waiting to happen.
fair point,, but have seen a few incidents over the last few days, couple of collisions with spectators, motorbikes fkn around , cars parked in rediculous places and the usual fools running around,, accident / incident waiting to happen..
Google the one of the stupid French policeman taking a picture on the champs elyssee a few years back - Iirc he correctly he broke his leg , got whacked by a sprinter.
