  1. TT,
Stick with it they have acknowledged to me that they have got a number of things wrong. Once I get an agreement from them to deal with my particular case positively, I'll be happy to share the exact letter details to help you out with your cover question. I would quote the issue being currently reviewed by many WD customers on this website, which just might spur them into the right response!

A most professional response. European Cover will be added to all future policies plus the sales wording is going to be changed.
They have also agreed to cover me for 100 days abroad during the period of my insurance.
    :)

  4. ;) Final update on my Warranty Direct issue with the bike BBS failure in Belgium. They've fully acknowledged they have their product 'selling' script incorrect and that European cover will be included with all future motorcycle policies, for up to 100 days, with the appropriate modifications made to the booklet details consistent with proper cover when riding in Europe. Also they have confirmed all of my repair costs are covered and paid out the entire cost today, including an extra-over charge I incurred for two recovery trips to take the bike to a Ducati repair garage. Another long story, due to my breakdown happening on a Belgian bank-holiday!!

A professional response all round I have to say and having made contact with their customer service manager, the matter has been dealt with courteously and relatively promptly.

Ensure all who have a similar policy that they verify the European cover in writing and with the right person. If anyone wishes to have the right contact details, please let me know and I'll 'PM' them across.

Great outcome for me completely and well done Warranty Direct I say.....

  7. Looking for a bit of feedback, Ducati dealers are adamant that my October 2015 MTS is too. old to buy their new extended warranty policy, only 2016 bikes

Thay have offered me an extended warranty from a 3rd party Autoprotect, due to issues with the bike I am not comfortable owning it after 2 years without warranty so here's the problem, every review on the Internet are saying don't touch Autoprotect with a barge pole, they never pay out, claim its wear and tear and find the slightest excuse to not payout, so has anyone had a claim, successful or otherwise and any other recommendation. Thanks
