  1. I have the attached fly lead that looks like it wants to receive an optimate?

they are now on their 6th generation model so which one should i buy and why?

it seems like there is a sig price difference between 4 and 6

i also have a ctek and its compatible with bikes but doesnt have the correct fly lead so is that an option too?

  2. I would just buy the battery lead for the ctek rather than a new optimate.

  3. They don't seem to have one with inline fuse

  4. None of my Optimates have an inline fuse. I just assumed the unit monitors the battery and shuts down in the event of any issues.

  5. I mean the fly lead that's attached to the bike to take the optimate cable.

  6. Buy a Ctek lead and plug and solder the lead to the existing lead cw in-line fuse, if you feel you need it.
If ctek don't supply it like that, they must feel it doesn't need one.

  7. Ctek do a range of adaptors to fit pretty much any charging lead available.

  8. I can't remember if my fly leads have them or not. I have a Ctek lithium charger and a number of lead acid Optimates.

  9. None of my cteks or optimates have a fuse on the battery lead. Been using them for 10 years with no issues.
