Hello folks, been reading this site for a bit while I've been mulling over buying a Multistrada... (I have looked at one which used to belong to someone on here, I forget their UN, but it was in J&S at Doncaster) Well, I've taken the plunge. Got a 2012 Multi coming in a couple of weeks, part ex'd my Sv650s for it. So.. Please be gentle with me. What do I need to do, look out for, what's recommended by you guys!
Cheers! Wanted a Ducati for ages. Went from wanting a 996 forever, To not being able to afford one, then.... My cake shelf round the middle and back decided sports bikes aren't for me... So..... Multistrada!!!
If your local in the Yorkshre area, i would recommend Reactive Suspension, he set mine up and it made a massive difference, cost about £60 i think, money well spent
Only advice id give my friend is to use it as much for as long as often as you can.. You will love it bikes are for using as much as poss and think The Mutley..despite all its faults...is still the best all round bike that money can buy for the majority of people
I fully intend to Paul. I'm waiting for a phone call on Tuesday to tell me when it's being delivered after a service.
Stop it.... I've only just persuaded the missis to let me part with so much to buy the bloody thing!!! And it's not here yet, so she could put the stops on it yet!!!
hope all went well with the new arrival, always an exciting time, I have a new car being delivered Wednesday after 12-14 weeks lead time, roll on Wednesday.
She arrived yesterday, I went out for a 50 mile or so blast, via Squires Bikers Cafe at Sherburn in Elmet. Oooooh she's a keeper alright.
You're both crazy! And as it hasn't happened yet, I'll take a feather from El t's hat and say ............... Welcome Dave!
