Anybody Know How To Remove These?.?

    Just attempting a TPS replacement and stuck trying to remove the steering lock...
    Can't see how these come off any advice would be gratefully received

  2. If you are talking about the studs, just grip them on the round section with Molegrips and undo. They are usually Loctited in.

  5. Or you can double up some M6 nuts and undo the bottom nut, so it winds the stud out.

  6. Are you trying to get the screws out of the airbox? It comes off as a unit by releasing the O straps on the bottom.
     
  7. image.jpeg Needed the air box off Chris, think whoever put em on had shares in locktite/super glue. Just trying to change TPS now tighter than a ducks @&££. Need to do some cleaning though : state of it
     
  8. Yeah these are tough buggers, I had to end up cutting and drilling mine out

    When I got the replacement parts from Ducati, they come with dry blue loctite on the studs and a necked hex on the top. The idea being you screw them in with the hex and it breaks off, I just put them in till they were tight, not horsed as before and cut the hex off with a hacksaw

    Glad you had better luck because that job was a complete front bottom

  9. Couldn't agree more John! You don't happen to have a part number for them do you? Managed to strip the thread on one of em .
