899 Panigale Clutch Problem

  1. Hi guys,

Just after a tad bit of advice and peoples knowledge about a problem that has occurred today.

So went to silverstone to watch the gp today, apon leaving and being stuck in very slow moving traffic, my biting point of the clutch at the lever seemed to be getting closer and closer to being completely pulled against the grip then stalled and couldnt get the bike to stay running when taking it out of neutral into first at all evently getting it to work after letting it cool a tad but now my idle speed when in gear and clutched pulled seems to have risen like it is slipping maybe? Any ideas?

    Cheers dave

  2. Oil level?

  3. Yeah oil levels fine mate

  4. Air in the clutch line. Bleed it via the bleed nipple at the master cylinder at the lever.

  5. Agree....

Biting point nearer the bar means the pressure plate isn't getting pushed out as far..

Has the master cylinder on the bar still got plenty of fluid in it ??
