My 2013 Multi will be due for its first big service in the Spring that will include the cambelt. I gather an expensive service. Should I be particularly fussy as to who looks after this service or "carry on as normal"?
If you are already happy with whoever does your servicing, why would you ? Got my big service in February and will be taking it to the same guy who has been looking after it for the last 5 years. Andy
As above, if you've had good service why switch You could try an independent now out of warranty but in my experience you dont really save a lot on the simple service stuff
Doesnt hurt to get a quote for both. In the case of a big issue ducati always first see if the bike is been serviced with a ducati dealer regularly even if bike is out of warranty. As your bike is on 15 and there has been some issues with bearings at 20 odd it may be worth considering this time round rather than later at 30odd.
Mine was still under the shop warranty and a big trip due so i went with the main dealer option abnd 2000 miles early .....warranty finished 3 weeks ago so 30,000 miler will be done at a reputed independant ...shame its only 11,000 miles away
