999 Parts Prices.

  1. Ducati bikes and parts are expensive in Aus. At least +50% more than uk. It is a genuine R part nos so probably less than list price.

  2. Ducati ownership is a nightmare if you need parts. Even second hand parts with zero guarantee and the sellers want stupid money. I need a fuel pump and Ducati want £900.00, for a fookin fuel pump!! 3 pounds worth of parts for £900, bargain.

  3. Try this as an option.

  4. Thanks, I had thought about that so tried one that looked the same but the body of the pump was too fat so sent it back. Awaiting another pump now that 'says' it is a direct swap, so we'll wait and see. Fingers crossed.

  5. I completely striped my tank unit last night to change the filter sock below the pump. Jesus there was some crap down there!
Also made a plan of how I would rebuild it. And discovered the hollow posts that it all mounts with the nasty star washers on tapped nicely to M5. So I'm going to make up some sleeves and fit studs to rebuild it. I'll let you know how it all goes.

  6. MotoWheels have their billet fuel pump with CPC metal QD's now available

  7. Ducati Dealers in the USA use CCW pumps - they don't sell here very well at over £100 but they swear by them and they do fit! If your 2nd attempt is one of those with a life time guarantee off Ebay for Circa £60 it will not fit either from what I have been told. I have the CCW in stock and can apply the 15% discount for Forum Subscribers.
