  1. I'm thinking about a ducati top box and fitting kit any reviews or comments ....?
Ps any one got a red one thay might be selling at some time please pm me thanks big stu.

  2. expensive for what they are...i bought the givi 26litre & 47litre monolocks and the discreet base plate fits on no problem. Then i have the choice of a small one for day runs or large for weekend runs. Both with plates was less than £140, and i have compared to the original ducati (givi) one, and as usual in my opinion just overpriced and no better..

  3. Thank you

  4. I have one, I think Unicycler is probably right about the cost issue. I had mine thrown in as part of the deal and only because my other half insisted...........she likes having a back rest for the one time each year that she gets on the back.

It seems well made, I guess the best thing is that it looks nice, as it is colour matched and therefore looks good when the panniers are on.
My only gripe is that I prefer the look of the bike without the larger carrier and supporting bars under it. Having said that it does give the box a lot of support.

  5. Thank you

  6. It is expensive but it looks right on the bike and works well.

IMHO it is worth the small extra amount over something cheap and nasty.

  7. That one has not got a fastening kit with it just a box I will price a kit up thanks

  8. May have a genuine one for sale with the kit but won't be for a month or two until I make my mind up... oh and it's black

  9. went for the givi trekkers... has A 2 full helmet 52 ltr version now...

  10. I've got the Ducati top box. Handiest bit of kit ever so I always leave it on the bike. Big enough for two FF helmets and anything else you may want to cart about. Saves carrying your helmet/gloves etc when you get somewhere.
It's a rebadged GIVI box so it's quality kit. Easy to open and easy to remove and matches the bike. You may gather I'm a fan.:upyeah:
Yes they are expensive but if you hunt around on E Bay they do pop up occasionally. I got mine off E Bay. Best £350 I ever spent.

  11. I have the Ducati top box Stu - must say I like it - on and off dead easy - spacious and stylish. I've also managed to perfect taking the frame off in less than 5 mins too!

  12. Just in case someone wants a set of panniers to go with the top box, I have a set for sale, red good condition!
