  2. I'm sure I will be in the minority but I quite like the colour scheme , looks much better than the bloated enduro IMO.

I wonder what colour panniers they will settle on this time..

  3. I quite like it too.....looks to me though that the finish will be Matte. ( so special products will be needed to clean and not alter the finish )

  4. Probably them silver ones they first came out with! Lol

  5. Me like, muchly. I still have my 'bat-barf grey' ST4s and feel that's never been surpassed. Red wheels to match the frame will add the final touch. Pity the seat infill still looks like a junior school project…

  6. Looks great and may bring me back to the Multi. Looks similar to the one the guy did in Lambo Grey a while back.
Why on earth would they use those brown covers?

  7. In terms of updates there is very little new it seems. No Q/S or autoblipper which is a bit surprising. Glad i didn't wait for the 2017 model now and bought mine back in June.

  9. ^ likewise, used to own a Senna S4 monster with red wheels... Wish I could keep all my old favourites!

  10. Motorex 645 - I've used that on my ST4s for a decade - works really well :)

  11. The brown covers will match the colour the exhaust go when you ride it in the rain :grinning:

  12. Do you really see that happening with the MultiStrada gearbox?

I think the MS will need a better gearbox before they can fit a Q/S.

  13. I haven't looked at the wiring diagram for the DVT but the original (10-12) Multi is wired for a QS

  14. I had the Matt silver one from 2014, don't think I ever had to do anything other than a quick wipe over with a leather, was really easy to keep, way less time consuming than the red, though TBH, I not cleaned it yet, will do that in the spring. :)

  15. No doubt that is why they wont fit one as standard. I guess the DVT will get a fairly big update next year.

  16. Is there an actually full list of changes compared to the Current DVT?
I read somewhere they have changed the seat, made it flatter in one report, but no where else
TBH it is a pretty poor update, unless the Engine Changes are significant, and solves the oil usage.
Even no Tyre pressure monitors on a touring bike is poor imho

  17. Isnt the multi a wider spaced box compared to the 1198 it came from? Probably the same loom but certainly not same components it plugs in to

  18. I wouldn't trust the gearbox with a QS either.
Lost a few star selectors with the gearbox on my BMW because of the QS.
They are decent technology , however the gearbox quality needs to catch up.
Heard of a few superduke 1290's having QS issues and their gearboxes are supersmooth

  19. @fatbob99 Ducti seem, to have more trust in it, they have added 2 way QS to the Supersport S so I can assume it might happen one day,

  20. Yeah Ive noticed that too
Think the pani 1299 has one also , hopefully it will have some longevity :)
