Some helpful type will be along soon to say that he doesn't have one, but if his missus didn't want a new kitchen he would have, and if he did, he'd think about selling it, maybe. Not sure yet, just putting the feelers out

There's one at Moto Rapido but it has 7067 miles so does not meet your requirements.

That is a big ask. The only low mileage 1098R I've seen put up for sale in recent months, the owner was asking £25,000. The one currently in Moto Rapido is largely standard, having the 70mm Akrapovic system fitted but has the OE exhaust in a box. I believe it has after market rear sets but again, I have a feeling the original pegs are in the box. It had belts and valve clearances done in April and from a cursory look, it's in good condition. They had a zero mile one in when I bought my 999R off them 3 years ago. Could be the same one but it will be rather more now if it's the same one!

Guys the 1 that Mr C has for sale is mega. 1 owner from new, wants for nothing and has all the standard kit possibly except for the rearsets I do believe. You would be a foul to pass it up. Although it may have a little more mileage than what the original poster says is a "MUST" but surely a bike with Main Dealer DFSH etc etc aswell as all the other stuff "MUSTN'T be dismissed lightly? If you don't know already, the 1098R's are fast becoming an appreciating asset and are very understated. If it doesn't sell I'll pick it up myself and use it a little in 2017.

As an example, Moto Rapido have 1 as well and 2 months ago it was for sale at £13995, now it's £15995. My question is where will you find 1 for less and in better condition than the 1 that Mr C has?

 

The current 1098R at Moto Rapido is not the one you saw 2 months ago, it is the second that they have had recently. Doesn't alter your point that Mr C's looks a fine example. Andy

 

Andy I wasn't sure if the 1 at MR is the same or not. It was more an example of how things can change in a short space of time.

 

Absolutely and I have to say given the amount of interest earlier in the year, I'm surprised both Mr C's and MR's 1098Rs are still around. Maybe the bubble has burst. Would truely love the TB LE at Manchester Ducati but I have other uses for the £30,000. Andy
