I'm really getting started on my 900SS project now, the frame is off being powdercoated, and I was going to fit one of the two steel swingarms I have. What I really want of course is an Aluminium one, so before I put any more effort into a Steel one I thought I'd ask if anyone has an Ali one hanging around that they want a reasonable price for. I don't mind it being 'cosmetically challenged', I can sort that, especially as I'll no doubt TIG some Bobbin mounts to it anyway. Thanks Nasher.
I did actually think about it. But as much fun as making the jig then the arm itself would be, it’s a load of time I don’t have, and the materials alone would probably cost what I could pick up a used one for. I might take another look at it next winter when the rest of the project isn’t taking up my spare time. Nasher.
