Hi, after swapping out my standard cans and carbon termis (not sure if 45 or 50mm) Too often, I have found that the blue silicone seals around the ecu plugs (wiring loom side (actually sockets, as they carry the female part of the connector, but that's just being pedantic)) have torn a lot. have tried a coupler of main dealers who will only offer the full loom, and am reduced to experimenting with various greases and sealants. does anybody on here know where to get hold of some of them? Thanks for any help, Pete
Hi Pete. If I remember correctly, the ecu is an IAW 59M. If it is, get your self down to your local car breakers yard and find yourself a 1200cc Fiat Punto ....the ecu is the same (different software on it obviously) so the plugs and seals will fit yours. The Ecu is located at the top of the engine under the air box. I have had full Punto wiring looms off eBay for £1 +P&P, to make off bike Ecu connectors for Ducatidaig. So it's still worth buying the full loom just to get your seals. Anth
Did a shop search, and anything with snorkel in it are dive/scuba shops. Don't suppose a linky for a Luddite could be posted? thanks, Pete
Thanks Derek. Yes, only full connectors, but I have sent an email anyway, just to see if they can source them. cheers, pete
