1299s Led Headlight Unit On A 1299 Base?

  1. Hi guys,
    Is it possible to put a 1299 LED headlight unit on a 1299 base model without cutting any wires? Has anoybody in here done such a swap?

    Does the LED headlight housing itself fit straight on my 1299 base or do I need some other brackets or other parts (except the new connectors in your links)?

  4. think its just the support panel under the light 48411031B can't remember needing anything else

  5. So you have actually done this swap to LED headlight? Are you happy with the new headlight? Is it worth the money?

  6. Yes did it on my 2012 Base 1199, which i sold a couple of years ago, was happy with the light but whether it was worth the money is debatable i managed to get a sensible priced used LED headlight so it wasn't too bad on costs

  7. Good luck finding one. I have seen one on eBay in the past 6 months. Ducati want a small fortune for one.
