Clutch plates for older Monsters, any info on make, range fitment etc?

  1. Hi, i'm expecting my clutch plates to be needing changing next year, looking at £170 from Ducati for my '02 plate 600 carbed monster, does anyone know the actual make of the genuine plates? You can only buy them from Ducati as a set of friction plates and steel plates as they come as a set, hence the price. There's these ones on eBay for £87.49 total inc p+p which are just the friction plates and made by Newfren, i'm assuming these to be pattern parts??? And can anyone confirm(like their advert) that the same clutch plates are used for all 600, 620 and 750 engines throughout the years?

  2. I dont have a monster, but I have used those plates as per your ebay link on my 748 and found them to be excellent, especially good for the money. Quite a few 916 riders I know use them too. (They are pattern as far as I know).

  3. Many thanks for replying, thats good to have some feedback on them, luckily when i posted the question they had 10% off the price but today as a 1 day sale they have 20% off! So i've just ordered them.

  4. They just arrived via recorded delivery. Not bad seeing as they're from Germany and took only 7days from ordering to arriving on my doorstep. Now I just gotta find some spare time to fit them.
