I've not got a facebook account and I'm Fucking glad about it! Especially their communications bloke... What a cunt.
Just interesting how they gather information about you.... And the money they make from fake news.... Must be lot as their mouthpiece kept dodging the issue literally repeatedly... In fact I though at one point the video had stuck... Sent from my SM-P900 using Tapatalk
Facebook is one of those funny ones; I have been a member for years just for the hell of it but can count on one finger the number of posts I have made. I like to treat these things as a social experiment to see what trots out of the woodwork from your school/younger days. TBH, if I wanted to keep in touch with people I would have chosen to do so long before FB... I'll try and watch this tonight.
Ironically I had a Facebook account years ago for 2 weeks... A mate I knew went to live in Australia, stopped replying to my emails and said he was on Facebook... Within 2 weeks it was full of people from school "wanting to be my friend" to which I thought.... Well, you were Fucking ass holes in school so closed my account as I didn't want to have anything to do with the whole social media thing... Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
pros and cons. gathering info about you is probably happening right now on this forum, fake news is pretty easy to spot. (usually on any news rack at any location):Hilarious:. it a good way to follow people and events, i follow mcphee, and a lot of endurance racing. handy stuff. i post next to nothing after getting found by an exe, scary stuff. but aye. all good.
Typical media sensationalism... They seem to pick on one internet company, then "switch target" about every three or four months. The last one was Air BnB, before that it was e-bay, and before that Amazon. The fact that they all have millions of satisfied customers who have never had any problems never stops the tabloid media from making a fuss... You don't like it then don't use it - simple... Lots of people do like it and use it without any problems at all. Just because some gullible idiots need protecting from themselves doesn't mean that the service that they provide for everyone else should be denied.
How many times do I have to apologise for this, finm? Goat above, just let it go. Facebook allows me to stay in touch with people I cannot see in the physical sense, due to location, etc. It's handy for that. As for news, fake or otherwise ... I treat what I see on FB as metadata rather than real information.
i know loz. but i have you to do the thinking for me. i recognize the truth but why do you have to mix it up with so many lies?
Just because you don't have a FB account doesn't mean they're not tracking you? Any site with a FB (Like, Share, Recommend etc) button will send an event to their servers when you visit it. Facebook is illegally tracking non-users in the EU | ITProPortal
