Hi Looking at the JHP Clutch Slave instead of Oberon Has anyone fitted or got experience of this brand (seems to be linked to Ducati Coventry?) Ta
JHP - John Hackett Performance is Ducati Coventry. If you know John you'll understand the quality of the stuff they brand themselves. I've had many JHP parts including the clutch slave cylinder which worked a treat with a lighter action
yep, JHP is Ducati Coventry and vice versa.... Most of the cylinders are pretty much the same in function, it's the looks that alter. JHP unit is one of the better ones and John has been knocking them out for a while now so proven. If you're after something a bit less mainstream, Sigma do a really nice one as well.
I've just had a price for my 7.5k service and toon - the slave may have to wait besides I have other stuff sitting on the bench waiting for someone to fit - I dont want to push my luck
Peeps may also want to look here. Ducati 749. I use one on my DD bike its lighter in action and also re-sealable for the future.
looked at one of these, nice quality but at over £120 ???????? picked up one from spare shack, equivalent quality £80 and fitted it about 7 years ago and havn't touched it since its your money and your choice
On them grounds then the Oberon at 90 quid with a lifetime warranty has got to be the way to go then........oh I already did.
