1199 Ducati 899 - 959 - 1199 - 1299 Modifications - What Have You Done To Yours?

Discussion in 'Panigale' started by Rob Jarvis, Jun 30, 2015.

  1. I had ASV levers on my blade and they were atrocious. The play and slop in the was a joke. The bush wears out quickly and was a poor fit. Might be better these days but I wouldn't get them again.

  2. These have a 5 year warranty and I won't have the bike for much longer than two. They fit well, but as I said, they don't feel any better than the stock ones and are a bit slippery actually.

  3. They might be different now I had them in 2011 and the bush wore out in no time so I replaced it with an oilolet ring and it lasted longer but I didn't like the square feel of the levers

  4. I've had mine serviced:)

  5. New rear tyre

  6. Nothing as Ive still not seen the damned thing. Should get it this week.

  7. changed the clutch and brake fluid to castrol srf and bleed it through, the crap that is first fitted goes black way too fast,no other brake fluid like this stuff

  9. I managed to get hold of a set of Dymags for a 1098, the rear wheel fits perfect, but the front needed some axle spacers and some disk spacers to fit my 1299, this will also work for a 1199
Don't know if anyone is interested in a set, if they are i'll make a batch.

Rides really nice on them! didn't think the turn in could get any faster!

  11. I was mean to mine. At least I'll be posting in here when the new bits go on!

Skip to the end for the horror scene.

  12. Sent mine on its holidays :)

  13. I've just cut the cats out of mine, I need to weld it all back together and then pop the bike on the dyno to check out the fueling. It should be all done by the weekend

  14. @Horico H dear oh dear oh dear. Knob :p

183 mph (dont mentioning overshooting the first bend)

Just back from a double header Euro trackday. Estoril the Portimao. Both have 180 mph straights, best time at Estoril was 1:56 and 2:01 at Portimao.

Portimao is a bloody tough track to learn, really wanted sub 2 mins, But shagged tyres, and after 6 days on track it was not to be.
