What a nice day.......

  1. .........after all the frost and cold for getting the bike out and going for blast................

...........except the farm traffic here have left clods of mud all over the road and the rain has left the surface covered with a wet mud slime................

......I simply refuse to have that slung up the front of the engine and the underside of all the dash gubbins etc, having spent hours cleaning off thousands of miles worth of the same cr*p that other owners allowed to collect up there...

  2. Not that nice here.not as cold as it has been but endless showers soaking the roads.so want to hear those termis firing but reluctant to fire it up for the sake of it after all the advice of it doing more harm than good.

  3. yes, lovely here too - a really clear atmosphere with startlingly bright sunshine. (sun)

  4. Beautifully sunny here too but like Al, the roads are covered in the detritus from hundreds of sugar beet lorries that drive past ours and there is no way I'm a) getting the bike covered in that crap or b) risking chucking it up the road! Roll on spring and hopefully more days like this!

  5. Sun has been on this road all day, but it hasn't dried at all........have to do about a mile before I get to a main road, so I don't want a mile's worth of cr*p everywhere.

  6. Damp here in Lincs all day, warmed the bike up, but that's about it for 2012. I think the next time out will be after Christmas now- boooo.

  7. Bunch of pansies! I was out for a couple of hours, took about 30 seconds to hose the bike down after. Beautiful day but as said the roads were soaking wet. Still good fun though.

  8. I spent all day out with Duke1276 helping him instruct a CBT. It was beautiful but by 2.30 it was starting to come in cold.

Its the second time Ive helped out and I really enjoy it but now I feel as though I've been pole axed

  9. Lightweight !!!!! Told ya it wasn't easy mate ....... No comfy office here chief

  10. I've had half a gallon of egg nog too. I'm sure that's what's bolloxed me

  11. I had a couple hours out today on the 600 .. Came back washed him down.
Failed attempt at filling my scottoiler :(

Was a few bikes out mainly miserable gits who don't nod :)

Need a new bike cover my Oxford one ripped :(

  12. it's hard to believe and it took me 3 purchases to find out but if you have an 'Aquatex' then they really are poor value. I posted somewhere else about these as it's unnacceptable the speed at which they degrade - you can have a massive 'L' tear within a year and it doesn't have to be from a sharp object. I've used 6 now similar to :- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/XL-Motorc...36?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item2c66060428 (my past supplier on holiday) and although cheap in price they have fared far better than above. I always go for XL size so no faffing about on fitting.
