Hi guys, I am looking to get either an 821 SP or 939 SP preferably with a full termignoni system fitted (I really like the look and sound) I've read the full system comes with a different tail tidy or LED indicators, ECU up-map key and airbox cover(?) Is there an easy way to tell if the re-map is installed? If not can this be installed easily at a dealer / independent? The reason I ask is I am looking at an 821 SP which doesn't have the different indicators (I've seen one with melted indicators too!) so concerned it hasn't been fitted correctly with the up-map etc.
If it has the up-map installed it will say "Hypermotard Racing" on the LCD dash when you turn the ignition key on. The air box modification is a removal of an air plate, I may be wrong, and the indicators should be smaller and therefore tucked away from the exhaust.
the dash does indeed say hypermotard racing, it isn't just the removal of an airplate, it's a replacement inlet/cover and the indicators are standard panigale ones which are smaller
Okay that's an easy check for the up-map then. If it hasn't been done then I guess it's a haggling point, then I can take it for a proper remap. Daddy2coull - do you happen to have photos of the standard inlet/cover vs the replacement? Termignoni website doesn't show all the parts
Contact Hyside motorcycles/Romford Ducati. Speak to Andy, they took my 939SP in PX which had full termi and other bits of DP bling. Terms cost me £1600 so is complete with upmap etc. This was 3 months ago but they were keeping it out back to avoid having too many hypers in the showroom. Might still be available.
