Thinking they know whether the vehicle is taxed anyways, a numberplate scan will bring up owner, insurance, mot & tax details/defects... Am already paying £30-odd for an MOT document to be printed out on a cheap piece of A4 paper due to them having it all online...
It's even better when you have to pay for a replacement one when you've lost the first one......that is one expensive piece of A4 photocopier paper then, and there's not even an embossed stamp on it
