1200 DVT Advice On Selling A Multi....

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by Mr Noble, Jun 23, 2017.

  1. Hi Guys,

I've decided to move my Multi on and wondered whether it's better to strip all the farkles off and sell a "standard" bike, or sell it for a higher price with them all still on??

I have 3 screens, termi exhaust, navihalter, crash bungs, tail tidy, led indicators etc etc.

    Its a 2016 S Touring btw.

I'm happy to go down either route, but it will take me half a day to put it back to standard!

    Many thanks for your advice.

  2. ....for the record, I intend to go back to a Monster. Maybe a 1200R if I can find one!:motorcycleduc:

  3. Being a 2016 it will still be big money so a private buyer unless they get a big bank loan or a wad of cash at home, is likely to go somewhere else due to financing.

Personally I would strip the goodies, return it to basic then try a px price at a dealer. If nothing else it will give you a benchmark. I say strip it because , just my personal experience, bits are not worth paying extra for if they are already on the bike but might make the sale more likely

As to the bits, try in here first then the bay of evil.

  4. Someone will bite your hand off for a navihalter. Definitely strip as you'll make decent money on those extras.

  5. Strip it down and sell the bits, if you PX it they wont give you any extra for the farkles and the money from the sale will buy some goodies for the Monster.

  6. Is it the full termi with air filter? How much for that?

  7. Would be interested in navihalter, led indicators if striping the bike

  8. Does the Navihalter fit a Tomtom 410, if so I'll have it if it's not suitable for Hoppo.
