  1. Not Exide?

  2. Does your battery not sit on its side like the 999 battery then ?

  3. Yep. Exide. Battery sits on left hand side, upright, as per 1098 (which is the engine and loom that I have fitted).

  4. Rode bike yesterday, all good for first 30 mls, then started cutting out with clocks going off. Not good.

  5. Duff contact, joint somewhere, broken wire, duff solenoid?
Intermittent faults are so difficult to track down.

  6. Finally got to have a look at my bike and all is sorted now. It turned out to be a loose earth wire onto the ECU. Weirdly, it happened with the old Reg/text and the new mosfet one!! Power commander has seriously sorted the fueling and it's perfect, as it came off a 1098 from eBay and the map fits it perfectly. The only problem I have now, is trying to keep the front end down. It will wheelie off the throttle in first and second or of rises in most gears.!!! Happy days. 180mph on standard gearing. Nice.
