I just had occasion to remove an air manifold (aka air tube?) from my 1198S. What is the purpose of the structure on the top of the manifold at the front? TIA
It's to reduce air intake noise I'm looking to modify mine to remove those chambers & widen the intakes to improve air flow Andy
