That's my guess using the 2 seat undertray mounts nearest the tank and a subframe mount. Andy (If you saw the crap emoji before I could delete it, I'm using my phone coz the iPad is dead. Sorry)
Yeah rear shock guard, was alternative to the rear hugger, as some people said the hugger spoils the look of the bike.
As mentioned it is a shock cover, some were made and sold as suitable for Ohlins only and others could fit both. Made for the 748-998 models. I have never used one myself but design has varied with different sellers in the past.
First photo is clearly a lazyarse black cat lounging on a white sofa holding a can of lager. Or maybe a very small olympic torch. I'm not getting on with these varifocals at all.
