Mayweather V Mcgregor Fight

  1. Gotta be MW. The way he's neutralized all comers is mesmerizing. Not a massive banger but amazing skills. Mc again is hugely skillful and has a cracking left hand but usually decks opponents with it coming at him. I doubt MW will be up and at him. Mc will have to go for it and will get smacked from arseholes to breakfast whilst trying. I hope Mc wins but I doubt it. I doubt it a lot.... But one things for sure- all the detractors will be itching to watch it or find out who won!

  2. Most of the sporting world has gone mad for money as far as I'm concerned, look at football, some clubs are spending more on one player than their stadium is worth.

  3. Whenever i see him ( not a follower of boxing, or any sport where the other opponent wants to hospitalize the other one) but i cant help thinking of Brick Top saying "im gonna use the Pikey...."

  4. except he hasn't even got the kudos of being that...having been a doley and having the state pay his way along with his missus running a couple of jobs so he 'could concentrate on training'

But the yanks love an Irish, right place, big mouth, right time.

You may tell I'm not a fan : unamused:

  5. Yep totally agree. I no longer have any interest in football at all. In fact the only sport I will watch now is anything with motorbikes in.

  6. Can someone explain the sky sports to me? Adverts on sky the last few weeks give the impression that they are now going to have new separate sky sports channels just for certian sports but you can only get access to it if you have the sports package as well?

They seem to be doing a buy a generic sky sports package but, the Premier League, F1, football, golf and cricket will not show the live stuff as those 5 seperete channels, will all need to be paid for extra ontop of the sky sports package that you pay for already?

  7. Usually a new swishy graphic/animation means you're gone be paying more soon...

  8. Eventually, pounds per channel for sure. Retailers have done this for years. Carpet, underlay, too bars, grier, fitting, delivery, take old away, uplift etc etc. Sky and the PPV pushing it on

  9. So would that mean you would have to pay say for sky tv package,
then pay another fee for the basic sky sports package on top, which will probably just show the highlights of the 5 new channels and other sports away from the 5 most popular
then an additional fee on top for each and everyone of those new 5 sports channels to watch live?

  10. I reckon so, a menu of products and prices. Eg

    e.g.
    Current all in £30
Sky sports base = 1&2 general sports £20
Racing pack - horse, bikes, cars, cycling £8
    Football pack - er..football £10
Super pack - all of them £35

    covert 15% increase

  11. Taking away packages then selling the base line at the old cost and charge for the channels they used to have within the package, as new payable extra channels, scounderal's.

I'll stick with freeview and highlights

  12. Mayweather is one of the best defensive boxers in the business. Mcgregor will be on his arse by round two if not round one. Should be the quickest $100 million in history.

  13. Id watch it but Im not gonna pay.I hope McG wins.

  14. There'll be a 40 second vid on Youtube.

  15. How much is it BTW?? I'm away and hopefully the rig I'm on will buy it. Otherwise I'll watch it on YouTube a couple of days after. Told the Mrs. to not bother getting it. Got a feeling it's gonna be quite underwhelming...

  16. Well I've not seen either fight before, but seemed a good excuse to go to a mates pub out here at 5am for breakfast.

  19. It's an English pub and expected to be rammed. The area is rammed with visitors this weekend, plus a techno music festival at the gp track to add another 60,000 visitors.

  20. So......who stayed up to watch it?
