  3. Yes @Higor it will run fine with unleaded fuel, ideally you should run it on 95 octane minimum though.

  4. Hi Chris, thank you for the information.
    Bye,

    Igor.

  5. I always find that it's brighter if I pour unleaded fuel on the headlamp due to the resulting fire it creates.

Does tend to be an expensive modification though, as you need a new bike each time :(.

By the way, how does one unload petrol?

  6. Don't change to a round headlight though, or you'll need a new fairing

  7. Ahh! You,s guys certainly know how to make somebody feel they've joined a great forum! What is it? Racism or ignorance? Bet igor,s English is better than your Italian!

  9. Didn't realise he was Italian - thought he was from West Yorkshire

  10. He may well be from West Yorkshire, but the Italian flag on his avatar kinda lets you know! Don't mock someone with Italian especially if you own a duke, you never know when you may need his/her help in the future!

  15. I don't care if he's Italian; Polish; Australian; Nigerian or from West Yorkshire - and regardless of the language issues, I would expect anyone asking for assistance on this forum or riding / owning a motorcycle; that the headlight doesn't run on petrol; diesel or paraffin.

He might just as well have asked if he could run his bike on candles.

  16. So all he spelt wrong was unleaded(unloaded?) the info gave was "square headlight"to distinguish between the different models, ie: not round headlight or the other shape that came after the "square headlight" and you can't work out the basic simple innocent question!
You my friend are one helpful, knowledgable individual! And for what it's worth, anyone with a "square headlight " model ducati(myself included) would probably be better of sticking a candle in the "headlight"as they don't even qualify to be called "headlights"

  17. I know what the difference is between SS's with square headlights and round headlights - I just sold my square headlight one having owned and maintained it for eight years - in my OP I was being tongue in cheek; but of course you have to come along like an effing school master lecturing everyone.

Before you carry on, be advised I have been riding bikes very probably a sight longer than you; so, I don't need to be told what a good headlight is and the square SS one (rectangular, as you are being picky) isn't that bad compared with other bikes - even my Guzzi Le Mans which was also a square one was shite by comparison. Compared with my Harley the SS one is like daylight as opposed to a torch with nearly dead batteries.

  18. Uhh! "Be advised ive probably been riding bikes longer than you!" Wtf does that mean? I'm fifty and have been riding bike since I was 7yrs old,so what!
Next you'll be telling me your a "real biker " cause you ride in the wet,

I think your getting on like a cock, but it's only my opinion "superbiker"

  19. You haven't been riding long enough, then, because I was riding befor you were born.

Yep, I do ride in the wet, but not if I can avoid it (that's down to a medical condition).

But I knew you would have to start with bad language and name calling - there's no other way for people like you, is there?
