Hi just wondering if anyone has any ideas, while out on a long ride today I noticed that my battery voltage fluctuates from low 11 volts to over 13, I stopped for a break and went to re strut it and nothing, I turned the key off and on again and it started fine, not sure if its connected to the voltage fluctuating ?I keep bike plugged into battery trickle charger, I have only had the bike for,7 weeks and haven't had any problems before, I don't know how old the battery is? Would the battery if old cause the voltage fluctuation while riding? JT
both mine sit between 13.9 -14.1 with headlight on sounds like rect is on way out very common on these as it sits near front down pipes on other side of battery box and gets all the crap of the front wheel . have changed both rects on mine on one when temp got to 85 volt started going up and up over 15 volt and some times dropped down to 11.9 changed that one now perfect the other one never got over 12.6 and dropped to 12.1 changed and both bikes run the same volts . if you leave your ignition on with not starting my 749 does same need to turn key of then back on and starter button will spin
