Ohlins Fg353 Re-pressurization....!

  1. Hi all,

Well, my OCD got the better of me and I thought that I could remove a c-clip on the top of the gas pressurized tube.... yeah, it come off great but the gas comes out too.... FECK!!!

Any thoughts on sorting this...? @RickyX maybe?

    Thanks in advance!

  2. You have to have them re-pressurised with Nitrogen, a good suspension dealer with a Andreani pump unit will do them.
Why not have them re-built and check while you have them off?
Any good suspension specialist should be listed with a search near you.

  3. Doh! I got mine rebuilt and re-gassed at JHP. I am sure there are other places too but at the time (2 years ago), nobody else seemed to have experience with these forks.

  4. Thanks guys. I was just wondering if there was a way to salvage my stupidity... clearly not...!

I'll get in touch with Ducati out here, there is one specialist but not sure if they know how to deal with these forks. They have been rebuilt and re-sprung to suit me so I just need one of the re-gasses (no doubt I'll have to do both sides..).

  5. MCT Suspension in Suffolk can do it for you or KTech. Both equally qualified.

  6. Thanks Topo, but I'm located in the UAE. I have the forks all worked over by the guys at Kais when I first got them.

Really wish I'd read the sticker right beside the fecking c-clip.... what a numptie!!
