  4. As nice as the latest Ducatis are, there simply will never be a better looking sportsbike than a 916/996/998/748 will there?

    The design is 20 years old now but if someone released it as a new bike tomorrow, everyone would say how great it looks.

  5. Nope. Sorry dude I think the 1098 shape kicks the 916 body type to the kerb, but thats probably because the 1098 was the first Ducati I ever saw and it was love at first sight. Dont hate me for it :frown:

  6. yeah, I remember the 749R was the first Ducati that really blasted my socks off. I never thought I'd get one. Then I saw the S4Rs and was 'forced' to test ride one - hehe!

  10. It's each to their own but as i said the 916 is 20yrs old now but it's looks haven't dimmed one bit.

    Only time will tell if the 1098 is the same.

  14. Wow, that 888 is awesome. This is one of the first bikes I remember from my childhood. My Dad took me into a dealership in Edinburgh when I was about 10 and I remember the 888 to this day!

    Amazing looking machines. :cool:
