  1. There was a thread a while back on these and the dearer ones from Leeds with the full story.
These ones had been withdrawn from sale by Demon Tweaks due to a quality issue with the castors. It has been fixed and they are re introduced a couple of years back with no apparent issues.
The Leeds company stated theirs (which was the original and copied then taken to China by ex partners) was superior and would not have problems as it was all made in UK. All the others - like the German Bursig or something are the China supplied ones.
Turns out their castors were sourced in UK but the company imported them from China :)
All the others - like the German Bursig or something are the China supplied ones re branded.
That's about all I know on the matter, thanks for asking o_O

  2. Looks like out of stock anyway.

    Thanks though.

  3. I had one of these for my 999, The frame adapter never fitted I sent it back to demon tweeks 3 times and they sent me out the same unit each time, resulting in me having to get a machine shop to alter the spigot that goes through the frame to fit.

It was a nightmare to get the balance right for it to lift both wheels off the ground at the same time, resulting in once it fell off the lift and the bike was laying on its side in the garage

I would seriously pay a bit more money and get the best you can afford (the 1 jac looks promising).

It’s not worth the aggravation of the bike falling off and having to change panels, bar ends etc.

I’m now looking into getting the Abba skylift, expensive but looks a very secure way of lifting the bike.
