how about raised clip ons? Ebay for 50 quid or so gets a 2" lift
cant see whay not, same wheels, and bike runs a 55 profile
the standard SC road tyres are awesome and good enough for anyone, plus if you get road ones you dont NEED warmers but, as above it helps both...
