have you checked the banjo junction and bleed nipple (if they're on that side) for leaks?
You can make them almost as strong as original if you are handy with a soldering iron - I use a Weller 100 watt instant heat with the spatula...
Have you checked the alternator to regulator (yellow wires) block connector behind the battery holder for corrosion?
