yes you adjust the rod loosen the pinch bolt on top ,, wind it out, you will see a smooth notch in the thread that's your distance, then the pinch...

yes mine was , but it was softer, that's why I got it revalved and re sprung ,suppose a lot depends on your weight ,but I know race shocks ive had...
flat does not give shock the ability to use its stroke on the road ,, im no expert call Darren at mct he will tell you everything you need to...
I think I put a piece of wood under cans then jacked up to allow s/arm to not be underload ???? think that's what I done

yes big m easy to do ,I slackened the shock mount a touch as well just gives a little more free play when changing linkage from f to p
hey big m , mine is now progressive and had the valving softened by Darren mct it totally transformed the bike suspension now moves and it floats...

I pulled mine of a 13 plate fitting termi cans but was also given a plug to fit where the power went to the exup motor ,but you can pull them off,,
