Or use a tie wrap round the solenoid to hold the plug in. At least it's easier to disassemble to change the solenoid when it goes

What you are doing is correct as long as you are measuring the deflection mid way between the sprockets
It's a quick and simple job to do, and being that tight it certainly won't be helping
Latest calculation is 51mpg and that's with the clutch slipping like b*****y

Can't tell you the size, but most people take this as the opertunity to replace the slave cylinder to reduce the effort on pulling the clutch in....

This may be a bit controversial but you could call you're local Ducati dealer or failing that Baines Racing, JHP will send out via post as well....
