Just remove the cable, put a spring on the end to allow it to go thru its starting process, and job done. For free if you have a spring around :)

I wasn't, just interested, but if I was, what does that give me? My dvt is totally standard :)
Use the revs: that's what they are for!! In theory, change at 500-1000 before redline and you go straight back into max torque for drive :)
